Oxford Playhouse is a thriving, bustling theatre in the centre of the city - an important part of Oxford’s cultural heritage and its future, for local audiences and visitors alike.
Like most theatres, OP has had to explore ways of increasing its funding routes. After securing support from the Arts Council, it is driving forward with a three-year fundraising campaign.
Uniform was asked to create a campaign identity and programme that would engage audiences and encourage them to donate. The campaign had to work with the brand values and messages of OP, but needed a more direct call-to-action, as OP would be challenging in a fundraising space dominated by well-funded national and international charities.
‘For OP’ is an emotive campaign with strong messaging and an immediate call-to-action. It focuses on the idea of working together, using photography to highlight the role that theatre makes to people’s cultural lives.
